Is there a minimum stay?

Yes, 1 week minimum stay. While we prefer 7 day bookings, we would consider a shorter stay upon request. Islay is a place that has a short season because of weather, thus shorter stays disrupt our ability to book the house.

Yes, we require a £3,000 deposit.  This will be returned within 7 Days of Departure once house has been inspected.

  • 25% non-refundable booking fee due at time of booking.
  • Remaining balance due 6 weeks before arrival.
  • Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival date are payable in full.
  • Cancellations within 6 weeks of arrival are non-refundable.

 

We strongly advise cancellation insurance that covers every type of disturbance. 

Please enquire as a chef can be arranged at additional cost.

Yes, the kitchen is fully equipped with essential cookware, crockery, cutlery and appliances.

Absolutely. We love to welcome children to Cairnmore house. We even have family rooms so the children can share with adults. We also have a cot and highchair.

Accessibility varies in the property. We do offer a downstairs annex that has disabled facilities.

No, in order to protect the property and our neighbours.

No pets allowed.

Yes, guests are welcome to use the 2 washing machines and 2 tumble dryers in the large laundry room. This is included in the rental.

Yes, the house will be serviced daily.  This will include all communal areas and all bedrooms.  Dishwashing is not included unless otherwise agreed.

We have car parking spaces for up to 5 vehicles and an e-charge unit for electric vehicles.

Please report any issues as soon as possible so they can be resolved quickly.

Check-out 10am latest.
